Jumblebaggers
"Our aim is to reduce the amount of textiles going into landfill by recreating other useful items from them. It's what Granny used to do!" Jumblebaggers partners - Di Renshaw and Sue Hill
We do this in several ways (see below for more detail):
- Creating bags, bunting and accessories from waste textiles that we collect locally, these are available for sale
- Eco art workshops - showing you how to restyle waste textiles to create something new - great for schools as well as eco centres. See bottom of this page for our next workshop dates
- Eco art talks and demos - we'll come to you and talk about how to reuse textiles
- Eco art parties - have fun in your own home reusing textiles to create all sorts of useful or fun things - the kids love it!
Jumblebags
Party bags, gift bags, bottle bags, girly bags and accessories from discarded materials
- Eco-friendly- Making bags of all sorts from waste or unwanted textiles - saved from landfill.
- Made in the UK- All bags are made in the UK, in Oxfordshire. None of our work is outsourced abroad.
- Supporting local workers- Cutting out and sewing is done by our team of local ladies who work from home. Our bags can then be reused many, many times as they are made from material rather than paper and can be passed onto someone else or reused for other purposes. We aim to give those with a conscience about the environment a real alternative to existing products.
Having an event or a party? Want to brighten up a room or your garden? Why not use eco bunting!
Made from waste textiles this colourful bunting is ideal for in or out of doors, for birthdays, christenings, weddings, anniversaries, commercial events, fetes, markets...all occasions. We make the bunting to order so that you can choose the colour and length you require. It is also possible to personalise it with words or logos. See www.ecobunting.co.uk for more details.
